AMASS Group, is a leading international logistics service provider headquartered in Shanghai. The group is privately owned and has developed into a market leader in ocean consolidation services in China. Collectively, AMASS serves more than 20,000 locations in over 120 countries. AMASS services include global LCL, FCL, air cargo, warehousing, logistics, distribution, dangerous cargo, customs clearance, transportation and trading services. AMASS was looking to implement a B2B E-Commerce website in 2015 to create efficiencies in its procurement process.
AMASS partnered with Bluecom to deploy its first E-Commerce website. Bluecom’s solution was based on the Magento platform and Bluecom used the platform as a base for complex specific development. Bluecom provided ergonomic work to provide a user friendly interface for AMASS end users. Along with the development work, Bluecom also conducted integrations with AMASS ecosystem quotation algorithm, tracking information and ERP integration for customer, price consignment and product.
AMASS was able to launch its B2B E-Commerce website with Bluecom delivering the project within timeline. AMASS clients are now able to request for services and track deliveries online. With a commissions system now in place, AMASS can reward its sales representative, based on their customers online purchases. Bluecom is working on a second phase project with evolutions such as responsive design, QQ and Skype integration.
